The City of Bell Gardens Youth Sports program emphasizes:
Sportsmanship, Healthy Competition, and Fun!
Want to join a softball team? Need to improve your basketball game? The Bell Gardens Recreation and Community Services Department provides recreational sports opportunities for children ages 4 to 17 in a safe, secure and supervised environment. There is a one time fee per season which includes practice time, games, equipment usage, jersey and a trophy.
League play is organized and directed by experienced youth sports professionals. The Sports Center staff and volunteers provide coaching assistance, encouragement and support to the children participating in our programs.
Youth Sports offers the children of the community an opportunity to learn sports, develop skills, have fun, build relationships, and socialize.
Ford Park offers a variety of youth sports organized by season:
Small Fry: Ages 4-7
Youth: Ages 8-14* (must be in 8th grade)
Teen: Ages 14-18 (must be within 9th and 12th grade)
Registration for sports is taken at John Anson Ford Park located at 8000 Park Lane. All paperwork must be re-submitted each time you register for a sport. Visit the individual sport pages for more information on the sport, its registration requirements, and fees.
